PhoneBox Group
ORIGIN STORY
One Day in London...
A creative expert, a marketing guru and a clever strategist walked into a pub, talking about how hard it was to find a firm that combined global insights and wide-ranging expertise with strong return on investment. It wasn’t the first time they’d talked about this challenge.
So, Michelle Calcagni created that firm.
But it Needed a Name
Think about your favorite work memory, a time when you worked with talented people to create amazing solutions while having tremendous fun – do you have a photo of it? We do. Lots of them – take a look!

LEADERSHIP
Meet Our CEO
Michelle Calcagni is the founder of PhoneBox who inspired our company ethos. With a broad background encompassing everything from start-up firms and nonprofits through publicly traded Fortune 200 companies, she has a proven track record of developing and implementing strategies that drive growth, engage stakeholders and increase profitability. It all comes down to results; Michelle leverages her ability to understand clients and their goals so PhoneBox can quickly dive in and provide solutions that resolve their most critical problems.
Her unique approach to solving problems was honed through multiple global leadership roles and as an expatriate in Europe, Asia and South America. With experience stretching across industries as diverse as aerospace, manufacturing and foodservice distribution, she is committed to creating and implementing approaches, tools and processes that resonate with internal and external stakeholders. Her work is further enhanced by an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and Six Sigma Plus Green Belt certification.
Michelle balances her professional activities with a strong commitment to giving back, serving as a volunteer, mentor and board member for a range of businesses and organizations. She brings this commitment to life with PhoneBox’s commitment to give at least 10% of our time/resources to supporting small businesses that are women- and minority-owned.
